Executive Assistant

Amanda serves as the Executive Assistant to José E. Camacho, Executive Director and General Counsel for TACHC. Amanda provides clerical, technical and legal assistance to the Executive Director to ensure effective and efficient communications and activities with the TACHC Board of Directors, members, affiliates, staff, and vendors. She manages particular agency wide administrative duties and is responsible for coordinating the exhibit hall for the association's annual conference. Amanda also assists the Purchasing Program Coordinator in administering statewide purchasing contracts in pharmacy, medical supplies and lab reference services. Raised in State College, Pennsylvania, Amanda moved to Austin in 2000 to attend the University of Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, Amanda worked for Texas State Senator Robert F. Deuell during the 79th Legislative Session and in July of 2005 began her work with TACHC.
