National Health Center Week 2011
National Health Center Week is almost here!
Every year, the second week in August is dedicated to celebrating the tremendous work of Community, Migrant, Homeless and Public Housing Health Centers across the US. This year, our theme is "Community Health Centers: Working for Healthy Families and a Stronger Texas." During August 7-13, 2011, community health centers across the country have planned health fairs, back to school events, open houses, grand openings, and many other exciting events to demonstrate precisely how health centers are striving to improve the health of families and strengthen the state of Texas.
This year, many Texas health centers decided to turn the one week celebration into a month-long celebration by hosting back to school fairs throughout the entire month of August!
