Advocacy
TACHC advocates for increased access to health coverage through both private and public health coverage options. We support a number of policies that are proven to improve the health outcomes including:
- Improved procedures to simplify the application and enrollment processes for families
- Twelve months continuous eligibility for children in Medicaid
- Improved coordination between Medicaid and CHIP that eliminate gaps in coverage when children transition from one program to another
- Support for community-based application assistance to increase families' ability to enroll and renew health coverage.
