Videoconferencing
The TACHC WAN is used for videoconferencing between Members, between sites within the same organization, and between Members and 3rd party organizations or vendors. TACHC has provided videoconferencing systems to many Members and continues to provide the systems for new Members as grant funds are available.

Members can get online access to a range of free and fee-based CHC-related presentations at http://www.chln.org/ . Subjects areas include: Administrations, Clinical, Disaster Preparedness, EHR , Health Center Staff, IT and TACHC Manuals.
Emergency Satellite Communications
TACHC maintains an inventory of satellite telephones and internet systems for Member use in emergency situations. In the event of a communication emergency, TACHC will deploy the satellite equipment to the Center and train the staff how to operate it. The center will be able to communicate to hospitals, EMS and EHR systems. The equipment is battery powered and can be recharged using AC, DC or solar power.
