Texas Health and Human Services Commission's Client Education Events Calendar

For those of you in counties where STAR and STAR+Plus are coming, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission has added a Client Education Events Calendar to its website. You can find it at www.txmedicaidevents.com . This section of their website lists events in counties where managed care roll out is scheduled. The target audience for these events is clients/patients - to help educate them about the process of enrolling in managed care so they can stay with their current provider if they choose. All those who do not choose a provider will be auto-assigned to one. You may want to promote the meetings in your area to your patients.
