National Health Service Corps Scholar Orientation and Placement Conference

The National Health Service Corps will hold its Scholar Orientation and Placement Conference from June 23-25, 2011 in Tampa, Florida.
This conference is designed to assist NHSC scholars with placement at sites and to provide the necessary resources in order to successfully complete their NHSC scholar service commitment.
- Scholars – will have several opportunities to meet NHSC staff and NHSC-approved sites as well as collaborate and connect with each other. In addition, they will attend plenary and primary health care-focused sessions, offering additional information and resources. Free to participate – travel, lodging, transportation, meals and incidentals are covered by NHSC; Scholar participation required and registration required.
- Sites – may request to register for the conference to participate in the Recruitment Fairs. Please note this only includes representatives from NHSC approved sites, Primary Care Offices (PCOs) representing one or more NHSC-approved sites that have clinician vacancies and meet the eligible HPSA score, and Primary Care Associations (PCAs) representing one or more NHSC-approved sites who are interested in meeting and interviewing NHSC scholars.
