Director of Information Technology

As Director of Information Technology, Todd’s role is to lead the TACHC IT team in managing the TACHC statewide wide area network, network services and data management for health centers as well as TACHC’s local area network.  Todd also coordinate’s and produces multimedia technical trainings for health center staff. He also assists with curriculum development, working with vendors, testing computer equipment, and setting up webcasts and producing video and audio content.  Todd also manages TACHC’s HCCN (Health Center Controlled Network) data project.  This project will be a step towards health information exchange for Texas community health centers.  The project will also provide real-time data reporting for benchmarking and quality improvement.   Todd is a graduate of Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.  Before joining TACHC, Todd began his career as a Financial/Systems Analyst at a Austin non-profit organization. He then moved into the computer networking private sector installing and supporting Cisco based LAN/WANs.  Todd also has an extensive amount of experience with network security, IP Telephony, connectivity circuits, network troubleshooting, wireless networking and H.323 video solutions.
