The webcast will provide a brief overview and goals of the American Cancer Society, TACHC and the Texas Medical Association’s Physician Oncology Education Program (POEP) Colorectal Cancer Screening Project (CRC). The presenters will review the four essential steps of the Colorectal Tool Box, (screening recommendations, reminder system and tracking) and will discuss the implementation of the CRC Project at Lone Star Family Health Center (implementation process, screening, data review, challenges and lessons learned). TACHC will briefly discuss the development of a CRC screening program that may be utilized at your health center.
