Committees
Standing Committees
Standing committees shall be composed of five (5) members representing different TACHC regions unless otherwise indicated. Only representatives from Organizational Members may be appointed to a standing committee. The President of the Board will appoint the members of the committee and designate a Board member to be the chairperson who shall preside at all meetings and generally supervise the conduct of the committee's affairs.
- Audit
The Audit Committee is responsible for addressing the audit functions of the Corporation and reporting to the Board on issues related to the audits of the Corporation.

The Clinical Committee is responsible for providing guidance and feedback to TACHC Board and staff on various clinical issues including: Infrastructure development to share Compliance and Performance Improvement (CPI) tools, expertise, and findings, including: Establishment of peer review referral network; Recommendations regarding clinical performance outcome measures, benchmarks, and protocols; Clinical implications of Health Information Technology initiatives; Clinical training resources and topic areas; and Potential impact of policy and legislation on clinical care.

Advisory Committees
Advisory Committees are not required to be members of the Board or the Corporation and should have knowledge, expertise or experience with committee issues. Advisory committee members shall serve at the discretion of the Board President and may be removed from any advisory committee by the Board President at any time. The Board President may appoint (1) or more advisory committees with input from Organizational Members.
- Health Center Controlled Network
The purpose of this committee shall be to serve as the health information exchange to assist participating Texas FQHCs to meaningfully use health information technology to improve quality of care and maximize and leverage resources to improve Texas health center clinical systems and financial capacity to achieve quality, access and value in the care provided.
